Article Processing Charges (APCs)

This journal applies the following fees for authors:

• A1 Equivalency (FI 3.979 – ICR/SJIF 2023): R$599.00

• B2 (CAPES – Multidisciplinary): R$399.00

• PALOP: R$ 400.00 or US$ 70 (see discounts)

There is no charge during the submission stage. The APC is paid only after the manuscript advances in the editorial process and supports the journal’s maintenance, including server hosting, DOI registration, and editorial/layout services, and continuous improvements.

Important: manuscripts not formatted according to the official template will be charged an additional R$100.00 formatting fee to comply with editorial guidelines.

Discounts (PALOP)

RCMOS supports scientific dissemination in regions with limited access to resources and offers special conditions for authors from the Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP).

PALOP fee: R$ 400.00 or US$ 70.
