Abstract

Environmental management has become an increasingly relevant topic for those intending to start a business or who already manage their own enterprise. This issue represents an even greater challenge for companies, as consumers are becoming more aware and often act as watchdogs, prioritizing brands that demonstrate environmental and social responsibility, while also paying close attention to compliance with current environmental legislation. In some cases, severe penalties are imposed on organizations that violate these regulations. Faced with this new reality, companies need to adapt by investing in sustainable production processes that minimize environmental impact. Within this context, the main objective of this article is to identify which actions can be implemented within organizations to promote environmental preservation. In other words, to investigate how a company can adopt practices that demonstrate its commitment to sustainability.
