License
The journal complies with the indexing and best-practice criteria of DOAJ – Directory of Open Access Journals and ROAD – Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources.
Authors whose articles are accepted for publication in RCMOS agree to the following terms:
- Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing immediate open access and permitting users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, index them, use them as data for software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
- Articles published in the Multidisciplinary Scientific Journal O Saber (RCMOS) are available exclusively in electronic format.
- Articles may be indexed in national and international databases, directories, digital libraries, and bibliometric platforms in which the journal is or may become indexed.
Storage and Archiving
The RCMOS journal uses the Zenodo and Crossref systems for cloud storage of articles, ensuring their availability even during periods of server downtime. In addition, the journal complies with the Brazilian Legal Deposit system at the National Library, in accordance with Law No. 10.994 of December 14, 2004.
The journal is also integrated with the digital preservation systems LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, ensuring long-term preservation and continuous access to its published scientific content.
Author Rights
Authors who publish in the Multidisciplinary Scientific Journal O Saber retain the copyright of their work and agree to the application of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows sharing and reuse of the content provided proper attribution is given.
Transparency and Open Access
The RCMOS journal is committed to the principles of transparency and open access to scientific knowledge. Access to the articles is free of charge and requires no registration to read or download.
The journal uses the Zenodo and EduCapes systems to store articles in the cloud, ensuring digital preservation and continuous accessibility of its publications.
Repository Policy
The RCMOS journal recognizes the importance of preserving and widely disseminating scientific research results. Our repository policy allows the indexing of articles in national and international databases, directories, digital libraries, and bibliometric platforms in which the journal is or may become indexed, in accordance with the Creative Commons license adopted by the journal.
The journal uses Zenodo and Crossref systems for article storage and DOI assignment, ensuring long-term preservation, traceability, and greater international visibility of published research.
This policy aligns with the journal’s commitment to scientific transparency, open access, and preservation of academic knowledge.
