O papel do hormônio anti-Mülleriano (AMH) em mulheres com síndrome dos ovários policísticos (SOP) – Revisão Integrativa da Literatura

Resumen

A Síndrome dos Ovários Policísticos (SOP) é uma disfunção endócrino-metabólica complexa que afeta mulheres na idade reprodutiva. Recentemente, o hormônio antimülleriano (AMH), produzido pelas células da granulosa de folículos antrais e pré-antrais, tem emergido como um biomarcador crucial na patogênese e no diagnóstico da síndrome. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as evidências científicas atuais sobre o papel do AMH em mulheres diagnosticadas com SOP, por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. A busca de dados foi realizada em bases de dados indexadas (como PubMed, SciELO e Lilacs), utilizando descritores combinados. Os resultados demonstraram que mulheres com SOP apresentam níveis significativamente elevados de AMH, o que se correlaciona diretamente com a severidade do fenótipo clínico, a anovulação crônica e a morfologia policística dos ovários à ultrassonografia. Além disso, as evidências indicam que o AMH exerce um papel inibitório na foliculogênese normal e na sensibilidade folicular ao hormônio foliculoestimulante (FSH). Conclui-se que o AMH é uma ferramenta diagnóstica e prognóstica promissora na SOP, refletindo fielmente o pool folicular e a gravidade da disfunção ovulatória, embora ainda haja necessidade de padronização internacional dos ensaios laboratoriais para a sua plena inclusão nos critérios diagnósticos formais.
