This chapter establishes Digital Ecosystem Operations Engineering as a fundamental architectural and technical discipline for managing complex systems on a global scale. It is postulated that performance optimization in any digital ecosystem (with digital marketing serving merely as an application case study) depends on the rigorous application of principles derived from software engineering, data governance, and robotic automation. The text introduces an original framework for the design and maintenance of operating systems that transcend tactical execution, focusing on the architecture of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) infrastructures, API integration protocols, and process standardization strategies (SOPs). It analyzes the contribution of automation to system stability and regulatory compliance (GDPR/LGPD) within data collection architectures up to 2021. The chapter concludes that the role of the Operations Systems Architect is central to the sustainability and scalability of any organization dependent on massive data flows and Machine Learning algorithms.
