Strategic Supply Chain Coordination: Efficiency, Sustainability, and Value Added in Global Premium Perishable Chains

This article investigates the critical role of the supply chain strategist in integrating precision logistics, biological quality control, and sustainability in global premium fresh fruit chains. It analyzes how strategic coordination between exporters and importers mitigates inherent risks in cold chains and promotes an ethical, transparent, and highly profitable international trade. Through the examination of operational data, the effectiveness of disposal strategies for Category 2 products is discussed, resulting in zero waste, and crisis management in refrigeration failures that reduce financial losses by over 80%. The study concludes that regulatory compliance, digital traceability, and technical claim recovery are inseparable pillars of value added in high-performance markets, consolidating institutional competitive advantage.
