In this work, a study was carried out on the productive practices and public policies of regional development of vale do Ribeira, SP. The general objective is to describe and discuss the productive practices and public policies of regional development in the Ribeira-SP Valley. The specifi c objectives: conceptualize public policies; promote a refl ection on public policies in productive practices; to address the evaluation of public policies in the Ribeira Valley. Bibliographic research was used as a methodology. For a better understanding of the theme treated here, this study was divided into three chapters, introduction, theoretical framework and at the end the conclusions are presented.
