Impact of Digital Transformation in Food Banks: A Case Study in Brazil

This article analyzes the effects of digital transformation in food banks in Brazil, focusing on
a representative case study. The research explores how the adoption of digital technologies has
influenced operational efficiency, logistics, traceability, data management, and the social
impact of these institutions. Based on theoretical references, interviews, and document
analysis, it demonstrates that digitalization has the potential to expand donation reach, reduce
waste, and strengthen food security. It is concluded that, although structural challenges persist,
technological innovation is a strategic factor for the modernization of food banks in the country.
